Brielle Park Improvements

September 28 2016

September 27, 2016

If you live near or use Brielle Park, you will notice that the renovations to the park have begun and will continue throughout the Fall. The Brielle Recreation Department and Brielle Police Department want to remind everyone that this is a construction site and children need to stay behind the posted signs and fences. The main construction will be in the parking lot near the tennis courts, the tennis courts and basketball courts and the fence in the North West corner of the park.

When the project is completed, the park will have the following upgrades:

New Tennis Courts and all new Apparatus
New Basketball surface
Newly Paved Parking Lot
New Fence in the North West Corner
Reseeding of some grass areas near parking lot and basketball courts

At this time, the soccer and softball fields will be unaffected by this project, though parking will now be limited to the smaller parking lot by the rec shed as well as available along Morgan Parkway (and other side streets).

Brielle Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Brielle Council, has worked for over a year to plan this project and look forward to its completion in November.

At this time, please advise your children that this is an active construction site and to be aware of the surroundings as they use the park.
