The Brielle Library continues to keep a full calendar of events for all tastes and all ages. The summer programs include:
Classic Summer Film Festival Wednesdays, July and August at 1:00 pm A rare treat and not to be missed – a history lesson and classic film. A pre and post film discussion will be led by our own Tom Nolan, borough administrator and history expert. All showings are free; refreshments provided. Alexander the Great kicked off the series, to be followed by 7/9 Quo Vadis 7/16 The Vikings 7/23 El Cid 7/30 A Man for all Seasons 8/6 Barry Lyndon 8/13 Good Night and Good Luck 8/20 On the Beach 8/27 Charge of the Light Brigade
Computer Classes Wednesday, July 16 at noon Basic Computer Skills Wednesday, July 23 at noon Microsoft Word Come in or call to register
Author Guest Friday, July 25 at 6:00 pm. Psychologist Daniel J. Tomasulo, PhD, TEP, MFA will speak about his new and very funny book Confessions of a Former Child: a Therapist’s Memoir. His book will be sold and autographed that evening. Check out a recent APP article HERE.
Crochet ‘n’ Chat Thursdays, July and August at 1:00 pm A new program for all ages and levels. Beginners be sure to bring a medium crochet hook and basic yarn to get started. The sessions will be led by one of our experienced staff members. These events are free and no registration is required.
Young Adult Party Tuesday, August 5 at 3:00 pm Author Stephanie Meyer will be on hand to celebrate Breaking Dawn, the latest in her young adult series. Pick up invitations at the library.
Book Sale !!! Thursday, September 4, 9:30am-8pm Friday, September 5, 12-5pm *Brielle Day – Saturday, September 6, 9am-1pm
